Well, well, well. On a somewhat related note, The Mandalorian star Gina Carano was just canceled and fired by Lucas Film for making "abhorrent and unacceptable" social media posts that "denigrate people based on their culture and religious identities". What was the post in question?

"Jews were beaten in the streets not by Nazi soldiers, but by their neighbors....even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don't realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?"

SJWs everywhere flew off the handle...again....and started #FireGinaCarano, ultimately resulting in her being canceled which really just proves the very point she was making.

That particular statement I agree with her but from the other side of the fence.

When I read that above (what Glurin posted) I assumed she was comparing being antifascist to being Jewish as Trump has spent the last 4 years demonising antifascism and indirectly BLM and more broadly democrat (unpatriotic), culminating in Jan 6.

But looking at it in the context of the rest of her posts (none of which I was aware of before today), conspiracy theories and taking the piss out of transgender people I don't believe that was her intent. I think her subjects were far-right republicans - I believe she's victim claiming on their behalf.

You know, I could point out the billions of dollars in damages that both antifa and BLM have directly caused. I could for the millionth time point out their blatant hypocrisy. I could point out the terrorism and assault and murder committed all summer long by those two groups. I could point out that the police were ordered to stand down and allow the violence and destruction to continue by numerous democrat governors and mayors. I could point out how this violence was openly encouraged, dare I say, incited by several sitting democrat congressmen and senators. I could point out that Trump didn't actually do anything beyond denounce said violence and offer support if the governors asked for it. Or how the constant stream of accusations of racism and Nazism against him were 100% bullshit lies.

Really though, it's a very straightforward concept. How is hating someone for their political beliefs any different from hating Jews just because they are Jews? You think the right hates BLM and antifa? No. They hate what BLM and antifa have done. They will defend to the death the right of these groups to peaceably assemble, but not when they start looting and burning. The same cannot be said of today's left wing, which is currently actively de-personing anyone who speaks out against them.

Sadly, there's one political side that is deeply invested in anti-Semitism, and it isn't Glurin's (nor mine).

Just because Progressives tell the fable that National Socialists were somehow conservative will never make it true. Truth hurts.

P.S. Trump, for his bounteous flaws & failings, was the most anti-fascist American President since WW2, and possibly before. FDR, Wilson, LBJ, and many other American Presidents have been quite sympathetic to fascism, as have countless European leaders.

What *IS* surprising is the failure to recognize that the Chinese Communist Party has essentially become fascist - though they would use the term, "State Capitalist" - and that the current American President is their loyal vassal.

Speaking of which, China just permanently banned the BBC for violating "requirements that reporting must be true and impartial". Their crime? Reporting on the Uighur concentration camps and the millions of people within them, which by the way China does not deny exist, but rather claim they are for "re-education" purposes. They were also upset that the BBC did not have a glowing report on the CCPs handling of the Wuhan virus, which came from Wuhan, China, as it spread throughout Wuhan and the surrounding areas. Instead the BBC noted that they tried to cover it up, which they did.

This is why hearing the word "misinformation" come out of a politician's mouth should scare the shit out of anyone who hears it. They will define anything, absolutely anything, that makes them look bad regardless of how damning the evidence is as "misinformation and lies". And when said politicians are able to seize the power to control information on any level, well.....
