I believe it was Michael Crichton who discussed this in fairly entertaining fashion, in his 1975 The Great Train Robbery (which most people don't know he wrote). Progressive culture finds the concept of the "criminal mastermind" useful, particularly when blaming a Republican President who they otherwise refer to as a chimpanzee or simpleton, because they like to believe a fantasy that criminal behavior correlates with inferior mental capability except in abnormal circumstances.

In reality, crime has been repeatedly shown to span social & economic dimensions (and class distinctions, where applicable) despite Progressives' desperate attempts to claim otherwise. There's always pseudo-science involved, whether IQ tests or phrenology. Frequently there are thought experiments like stealing a loaf of bread to feed a starving child, when the obvious truth involves thousand-dollar flat-screen Smart TV's, or embezzlement and fraud, not Wonder Bread.

Progressives always want to blame the system, or The Man, or Trump. Even though they are the ones who prefer "the system" in their hatred of personal responsibility and morality.

Because otherwise they have to admit that they and their beliefs are full of crap, and that there's a moral dimension to the Universe which deep down they know they, like criminals, stand in opposition to.

The objective of the Progressive State, of course, is that breaking the law becomes unavoidable. This allows the rule of "Man" to supersede the rule of "Law", as intended. Also commonly phrased as "It's not what you know, it's WHO you know."

Yes, Proselytism is something we use in our prison systems to help criminally minded people see the errors of their ways. Which is basically installing fear and it also implies that these people are somewhat evil in that we need to do this. I've heard the other argument from police that criminally minded people are considered primitive minded people as in 'its the animal behaviour' in us that takes over some peoples minds. Not something I subscribe to myself, everything always seems to boil down to chemistry imo.

Maybe it will all end in the use of live rounds, I've always considered the MK19 and ideal crowd control weapon. I haven't seen one protester not wearing a mask. Can't say the same thing for the weekend Trump boat rally at the reservoir. Nobody there was masked up and their boats were all tied together so you could walk from one to another. We all know who the plague rats are and who they vote for.

I believe kris directed this at me - I'm trying to be technical, so I really didn't understand the jibe, if that was what was intended? Maybe definitions would help?

I don't believe you ever bothered to answer my subsequent set of questions in the other thread, though maybe I missed it. But no, I'm not more mad about white supremacy because there are so few white supremacists that the Progressive fascist Establishment and the Maoist rioters have to manufacture their existence in order to have an excuse for their own conduct.

P.S. Interesting to see the "ACAB" claim - for those who don't know, it stands for "All Cops Are Bastards". I, for one, heartily support your interest in living in a world without law enforcement (which Leo assured me in the other thread isn't what is intended). Unfortunately, as we saw with the libertarian argument over the contracted fire department, I suspect those making the assertion now would be the same ones screaming their moronic little heads off when things get ugly.

Sadly, there's no support for building a wall around these places and making the advocates live with their demands. The example I gave of Alaska in the other thread isn't even popular with conservatives, and more's the pity.

For those of you "furriners", you may have heard that the violence has spread to the rural city of Kenosha, Wisconsin, which lies to the South of Milwaukee (Southerners, amirite?).

Kenosha exploded in violence when police gunned down an innocent man named Jacob Blake in cold blood with his children in the car (when responding to a domestic violence call against Mr. Blake, whose rap sheet is as long as my arm and against whom an active restraining order by his prior victim, the caller). Mr Blake was merely intervening in a domestic disturbance (what's a restraining order among, er, friends?) was unarmed (other than the wicked-looking "Karambit" knife which he had apparently just been tazered for threatening the officers with). Mr. Blake is currently in hospital and is likely to be paralyzed. It's not proven that he violently raped a 16-year old girl, because "minor" has a specific legal definition, after all.

In response, mostly peaceful protestors rioted, burning businesses & stealing SUV's from car dealerships, as well as defacing a church and a Jewish temple. Because truth to power, or something, particularly if you can get a free car, and the Jews are always to blame anyways so it's all good.

On Tuesday night, an armed vigilante (who had previously been interviewed guarding one of the car dealerships, rendering first aid to BLM rioters, and being thanked by Kenosha police apparently for acting as a police auxiliary) mercilessly shot down three innocent (white child-abusing ex-convict) protestors (who were attempting to kill him). Two have since died; the one whose arm had a giant chunk missing is in hospital (no information is available regarding the handgun with which he was planning to slaughter Mr. Rittenhouse). Mr. Rittenhouse has been arrested on charges of 1st Degree Murder, and obviously the New York Times is under intense fire for actually doing journalism kinda stuff that might allow a claim of self-defense. What are you going to believe, multiple on-location videos or Jesse Jackson's arrival to ensure the situation gets the appropriate amount of... encouragement?

Anyway, to answer Elly's original question, polling has started to show the ongoing riots are hurting Democrat chances. Joe Biden was already torn away from his pudding cup and the pre-teen girl assigned for his nipple-fondling pleasure in order to condemn the riots. So the BLM protest marches and accompanying riots by Maoists will end quite soon, or at least as soon as a conference with Nazi collaborator George Soros can be arranged, and will end with a whimper rather than a bang. Republicans and most of all the BADORANGEMAN have already been blamed for everything, ever.

P.S. I've found plenty more video which runs contrary to what you'll be told from the mainstream media, but nobody here is interested in the facts anyways, because ACAB. Of course, I work with a large number of police, even though I'm technically their number one suspect (risk assessment wise).

Contrary to Leo, I believe people when they say they want to defund and disband the police. I really, truly wish everyone here the ultimate success with their endeavors to that end. Because the only thing my recent survivalist experience demonstrated that I'm lacking is a decent generator, and I can always "liberate" one of those.
