The Noodle Compound V. 2.0

Christmas in July?

Reminds me, I had talked with my brother a couple weeks ago and he said it had been snowing all morning - they had just over an inch of snow within roughly three hours timeframe in the middle of June. :azn:

Running through slave pens just now without any problems at all. We get to one of the bosses and it doesn't turn out so well. The rogue in the group blames me for not "healing tank to full" - like he thinks I'm some sort of miracle worker or something, he was taking too much damage too fast to be able to do that. Then says not to heal the warlocks (which I wasn't), and to shield the tank then heal to full health.

I did actually shield him once (has a 15 second cooldown, btw, so I wouldn't have been able to try again anyway), out of habit, but from my understanding shielding druid tanks and warriors is a bad thing, because then they can't gain rage and lose threat. It wouldn't have mattered much in this case, since two hits from the boss made it go poof anyway - which is not even long enough to cast a single flash heal (1.5 seconds) let alone a greater heal (3 seconds), which wouldn't have got him to full with just one anyway.

So I tell him to stuff it, or heal the tank himself (yeah, good luck doing that as a rogue). He went on and on, so I put him on ignore and left the group. The tank asked me to come back, but I wasn't going to put up with the BS from the rogue. After I had that toon on ignore, he started harassing me from other ones - total of four, before I got tired of ignoring his account of toons and just logged off.

Then I realized he kept saying UB, when we were in Slave Pens. :azn:

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

So Dii Legend, keeping it old school or changing to Diii?
I just watched the episode of Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei which talks exactly about this type of thing.
People asking questions or saying things to people who've heard it a million times beforehand from other people. Not saying that it's bad or anything, but it's very relevant.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

To everyone playing WoW:

I was going through my inbox this morning when I saw the following email and figured I'd post for the sake of warning those that might now know not to click strange links.

The first two links are legit, but the third that you are asked to click on is not a Blizzard owned link, and will result in your account being stolen.

mailiy5.jpg

The sender is "[email protected]", which is a fake.

Whenever you get a genuine email from Blizzard, like from a GM in response to an ingame ticket or something, the sender is "[email protected]" <[email protected]> and the email title will also have Blizzard Entertainment - World of Warcraft in it.

Also Blizzard or a GM will usually address you by first name in an email.

Don't click on any strange links!

Aside from the wording not being correct in the first paragraph, they would not send an email of a "possible" account closer. They would just close it and then send an email saying it was closed, giving a rather vague reason for the action. Usually a follow-up email will result in a better explaination behind the action against the account.

On a brighter note, I might be able to hit level 66 tonight. :jig:

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

Steve Stone said this on WSCR this morning:

"If Hardin can stay healthy the Cubs have a strong starting rotation. You've got Zambrano, Dempster and Hardin. Throw in Lily as the fourth and you have a very formidable rotation. If those guys can stay healthy not only do the Cubs have a good chance of getting to the World Series they have a very good chance of winning the World Series."

For anyone who doesn't know, Steve Stone used to be an announcer for the Cubs and he is now an announcer for the White Sox. He is a Cy Young award winning pitcher. His knowledge and understanding of the game and players are unparalleled in the world of baseball commentating.

Who cares about baseball? Talk about beanie babies or pokemon or something. :D
oh how i hated the outlands.
Why? More exp, better gear/quest rewards, and more gold to be made.
