The Noodle Compound V. 2.0

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

I started a Night Elf Druid last night on Llane server. Played that guy until 6:00 A.M this morning. Haven't done that in a loooooooong time, with any game. Stupid question time, isn't there a screen to allot points from when you level? I seem to recall last time I tried the game, towards the end I finally figured out that I had a bunch of points built up. :whistling:

That's not a bad price really. I thought it would be worse, actually.

Edit: Here you go, Tri.

Screw Llane, go Horde on Gorefiend ...that's where we are.

We being me, Nolecub, Kiba, Shaperla and Dii Legend for starters.

I think you mean talent points, that does not start until level 10 and you get one talent point per level. There's no other kind of points to mess with like there are in DII.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

Oh ok, can I take my char with me or do I have to start a new one?

Simple answer is no, because Lane is Plaver vs. Enviorment and Gorefiend is PvP ...you can't transfer between the two server types. You can transfer characters however, Blizz charges a fee.

You can start a Tauren Druid on Gorefiend, my Tauren Shaman would then be just North of where you start and I can bring my others over too. The PvP part is complicated, but suffice to say you won't be in a situation where you would fight others too early ...that's mostly in contested zones after level 20 or so.

You don't get Pk'd in the sense that you do in DII... and if an alliance is giving you trouble..we're not far off to join the fight.

When you first start, you will be in Horde territory and in order for an alliance to attack you, you need to flag for pvp, so they can't just attack you. Yet.

I'll explain more later, or I'll get Kiba to post here for you.

If you play a rogue, you can get the drop on people. Start an undead rogue if you like, mine is level 5 and i can run and chat with ya tomorrow.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

Hey people. Long time no see.

Thought it was about time to become active again, now that D3 is coming up. <3

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

The Barbarian can look like Michael Jordan for all I care, as long as the game is as fun as it looks in the video, I'm satisfied.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

Come on, it's way cool that a character in D3 looks like the most rugged man who ever lived.

Hell, by seeing the videos I'm already addicted.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

Dude, my friend and I have been calling up the old D2 crew from way back in the day all morning and afternoon. Everyone's excited as hell for this game.
I don't even care if it's going to get released in 2+ years, just the announcement and gameplay video is enough to satisfy me for that long.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

I understand totally. I was actually dancing, literally, when they officially announced it.

It'll be awesome.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

He totally Pwn'd you, didn't he?
Psht, I told that old man that D3 was announced. I was like, "Hey! You! Old man! I ain't pipin' down for no one! See this here vidya they got on that there compooter? That means be Dee-ah-blo Three!" I held up 4 fingers, but realized my mistake and put two of them down.
And so he was like, "Boy, let me wake yo mother up, she's gonna wanna see this."
