I would be like the unnamed guy on the Enterprise that gets picked to transport down to the planet below with Kirk and Spock. You just KNOW that he is not coming back.

I got myself killed about 10 times last night by wandering mobs in Arathi Highlands. I was getting the FP's from there and Tarren Mill in order to have a shorter travel time between UnderCity and my grinding spot in Wetlands. Ice Mages that have used this technique before have averaged 6 levels in a 24 hour period pre TBC. Let's see what I can pull off.

I also had to change my talent spec to bea able to do this.

Geeze, looks like I'll have to randomly hits keys to come up with a damn account name for the trial. My old trial account name is taken still(does that stuff not expire?), as well as pretty much any name I'd care to use. I'm already agitated with the whole thing and I haven't even started yet!!!

Check out this mind-blowing study. It seems you can raise your survival rate slightly by killing lots of horde (or whatever it is you're farming) but making sure Gorny stays away from any hot elven chicks.

Your best all-around strategy for survival would be to avoid combat all together while Gorny samples the native hotties but that would make you a filthy leech + a peeping tom.

EDIT: Also, don't wear red. That's just asking for trouble.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

So.... what's the price for a year's worth of WoW nowadays?

I'm afraid to look, it might be affordable.

FRom The FAQ in Worldofwarcraft.com:

Is there a monthly fee to play the game?
Yes. After the end of the free month included with the game, you need a subscription in order to continue playing the game. There are three subscription options: a month-to-month package at $14.99 per month, a three-month plan at $13.99 per month, and a six-month plan at $12.99 per month. The subscription fees for the three-month plan and the six-month plan must be paid in full.

So if you buy a 6month package (after buying the retail version) it costs around 77 dollars for a 6 month period or 155 dollars for a full year (2 x 6 months). You get a month of free play time as soon as you purchase your first package, once payment is confirmed, the free month kicks in then your paid time starts at the end of the free time period. You can also use pre paid game cards, available at most stores.

I can shoot you a trial to whatever email address you like Billy. You should join us on Gorefiend.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

I started a Night Elf Druid last night on Llane server. Played that guy until 6:00 A.M this morning. Haven't done that in a loooooooong time, with any game. Stupid question time, isn't there a screen to allot points from when you level? I seem to recall last time I tried the game, towards the end I finally figured out that I had a bunch of points built up. :whistling:

That's not a bad price really. I thought it would be worse, actually.

Edit: Here you go, Tri.
