The Noodle Compound V. 2.0

Sometimes a song comes by that I feel like I should get up and run screaming from the room though. Barbie girl from aqua was such an occasion.
was funny to hear the first few tunes again but the whole song is to much for my system so I took a walk.
Other songs I wanna crank up the volume and sing along (badly) but since I'm listening to it at work I'm gonna refrain from doing that.

Agreed. 'Sexyback' by Justin Timberlake is such a song as well. I didn't know it until now, but it's horrible.

Glad I missed it then.

Glad I caught "Tears in Heaven" from Eric Clapton. If I'm not mistaken about the title and the artist.

I listen to Rock, Jazz, old country and blues. When I say old country I am talking about Willie, Waylon, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and guys like that. Today's country all sounds the same and it is really just pop music. It doesn't distinguish itself from pop other than sometimes a southern drawl and maybe a steel guitar in there. My Rock is 70's and 80's rock. Some 90's music, too. I thought pop music made a comeback in the 90's after the sorry 80's. Was never really into metal, although bands like Metallica and Guns and Roses have some good songs that I can't not like.

I love the old blues from the 40's, 50's and 60's. I also love screaming electric guitar blues. I like big band jazz and even a little R&B. I like REO Speedwagon, Willie Nelson, Dire Straits, John Lee Hooker, Lee Morgan and Jimmy Smith, Abba, the Bee Gees and many one hit wonders from the 70's. So, I think no one can beat me for spectrum of music. :) I'll post a picture of my music room later after I get home from work.

From your list everything sounds good to me except the country music, though I like some songs from Johhny Cash.
R&B isn't my cup of tea either.

Though Jazz and bebop I can dig.

I've never been able to get into metal. It's always seemed a bit absurd to me, in a theatrical way.

Too bad. Well not really, as everyone just has to find what they like best, and get their kick out of that stuff. For me there's just so much variation in all the different kinds of metal, and on the whole so many moods those different kinds match with.
