Alright so something is buggin' me about this kill and the name reveal of Zhao as the killer.
We know that D2DC is
mostly following the wiki thread associated with these open setup. In that setup both Heirs (bosses) has ONE kill. If both bosses are alive, the kill must be made in the thread for all to see who does it. If the one boss is dead, it can instead be done by PM and thereby anonymously.
You are Heir Alpha. You win the game if you are alive, Heir Beta is dead, and the Anarchist is dead. You have a 1-shot kill you may use at any time. If the other Heir is still alive, then this kill must be done in thread by posting Kill: X. If Heir Beta is dead then you may PM the mod this kill. Use your vote to figure out who is on your side and weed out the rest.
In this game Zhao says that he briefly had the ability to kill, maybe a trigger or maybe just an excuse, maybe he had the ability the whole time?
Yeah, I briefly had the ability to kill but the drawback was I would be identified at the scene. I thought exposing my minor role for killing boss Pyro was a good move .. until he turned up regular guard. It was a wasted effort.
And even though he could do this kill through PM, the downside was that his name would be revealed, much like in the wiki description of the Heir.
Maybe Zhao is the boss and since it was night time he had to PM D2DC, but his name would still be revealed come the next day?
Or d2dc just changed the rules so the kills must be PM'ed but could be subject to the name of the killer be revealed? We have already seen that he really
only mostly followed the wiki description of the open setup.
It is also possible that Zhao is a sicario with a 1-shot kill triggered ability. But I don't believe that D2DC would remove the 1-shot kill ability that the heirs (bosses) have, that would make them too weak. So what is it? Does each cartel have a sicario with a 1-shot triggered ability AND a boss which also have a 1-shot kill ability?
Or maybe each cartel have one kill ability and that is that belonging to the boss, making Zhao the cartel boss?
Give me your thoughts. This is not an all out accusation, but close to being it, I'll admit.
