[Game Thread] Narcos Mafia Game reboot - Medellín vs Cali Cartel

Add Babyhell to that mix because I find his reasoning on me as weak as well.
The reasoning is not on you, but on your day 1 activities, and was applied to others, like Pyro.

Pyro was back participating, I put him out of the list.

As far as I can see...it seems you are active again? Same actions same consequences, you are safe from me today - or if you say something suspect at some point then you'll be back in. Like...anyone?

So drumroll...

The whole thing with questioning snickers remark about having limited information on other players and twist it to being understand as if snicker said he had limited information on all other players,
I was asked about the question so I clarified.
..
I had hoped it was a simple question, as I did not want to reveal too much. I ask because my PM gave me information about one other player: my cartel boss.
do we not dig at semantics in this game? do we not question what roll pms say? The continued hoisting about it makes me think y'all are in collusion together.

To poor a step further in my poor reasoning @Leopold Stotch:
1. Noodle: low participation
2. Leopold Stotch: low participation day 1, back in day 2
3. coju: lots of participation
4. snickersnack: participative too
5. Skjolde: alright, participative too
6. Pyrotechnician: low participation on day 1, back right before N1, confirmed day 2
7. Babyhell: hey hey it's me
8. Zhao_Yue: participative too
9. d2lover: low+ participation

On that scale, based upon my own stupid and erroneous theory based upon 100% of the games I've been involved in...who gives any readability? Who could be considered as trying to get a free pass?

I let you answer the question. At least you have plain sight one of my way to weight things.

Yes we dig at semantics in this game, which is why it seemed strange when you made a hard turn with you "all other players".

I'm glad that you clarified that part about your pm, it makes me less suspicious of you.

People with mafia rules experience: does the recruited cartel member gains another wincon, or his wincon is replaced?

And to answer: no my wincon didn't change. But would it be the case I couldn't say anything else anyway....

This is a different game with different rules. Really, it's anybody's guess about the wincon changes.

"But would it be the case I couldn't say anything else about it anyway..." Interesting. Why do you say that?

Because I read the wiki on the recruitment thingy (cult leader, that's what I found the closer), and the win condition then usually is to overwhelm the other groups.

So it would be in any cartel member interest to lynch the recruited one.

I dont think that the DEA can recruit every night. I also think other players are certain of this too..

I've been recruited before, and my win con changed. That doesn't mean the same would carry over to this game.

... really? ???

You have limited info on other players? How many players do you have information on? 1? 2? 7?

Did I not answer it? Oh, I didn't say whether it was weird or not: It's not weird.
There.

Oh, and here:

Vote: snickersnack

I'm not going for short fries here, I'm going for the big boss. If I were the DErAt, I'd nk you instead of this discussion bringing eyes on me. There Noodle, that's a reason why.

Same here.
Sigh. My role PM gave me info on one other player. Happy? Surprised? Were you expecting something different? As @Babyhell has pointed out a few times, people can lie, so I don't get the point of this.

Thanks for answering my question, sort of... If what I posted isn't weird, then what's with the third degree? I was scratching my head while typing those replies last night. Is this just some RDM?

(Unless it was all just to get more posts to read hoping for someone to slip up, and therein lies the game, you would likely say.)

I had hoped you'd answer before I did, as me saying I have info on one player gives you info on my PM if you are trying to make up a PM that you thought would fit the general publics.

I'm watching my newphews and they like to pick on each other when I'm not looking. I'll still try to be around.

To answer this, here is my assesment on the others:

1.) Noodle-- low participation. Might be lurking. Usual playstyle. Can't get a read. Could be anyone, inclduing DEA Agent.
2.) Leopold Stotch-- hey hey it's me. Busy IRL. Trying to participate. Wanting to help locate DEA.
3.) Coju-- active, asking questions, didn't agree with lynching Pyro (IIRC). Seems like he's really into coke. Might be drug lord, might be a goon. Got into a discussion about limited info with Skjolde.
4.) Snickersnack: active, asking questions as well. Don't really have a good read on him yet. Was also in the discussion about limited info on players.
5.) Skjolde: got into a discussion with coju over limited info on players. Might be a goon, might be drug lord.
6.) Pyro-- had low action, threw a vote out at the last 4 minutes of the day. Will have to re-read his posts to get more of an idea on him. Right now, at this distracted moment, I don't have anything to say about him.
7.) Babyhell-- hey hey it's you. Very active, trying to find DEA, asking questions. Not giving jesters vibe like he did last game. Probably a goon or a drug lord (leaning more to goon).
8.) Zhao-- was asking a lot of questions to Skjolde earlier and asking about his big brain and knowledge. Little sus but could be nothing. Seems keen on finding that DEA too.
9.) d2lover: asked if we should role claim already. Hasn't really posted much either, probably lurking when possible. Might be busy IRL. I don't have a read but I would guess DEA agent. I don't recall how much mafia experience d2lover has but I don't think it's a lot. Since this is a different game setup, might be harder to play a dangerous game like this.

These are the best thoughts off the top of my head. I'm very distracted ATM. :/

Also last I knew, @snickersnack was in the south too but when I talked to him privately it was, like, maybe ten years ago via email? @snickersnack, are you still in the South?
Yup. Unless you've moved far, I'm just a hop-skip-and-a-jump* to your SW.

*That's about 0.5 countries to our European friends. Why can't you guys just learn Murican units?
I thought I quoted this earlier...

I remember YEARS AGO hosting a WW game. I don't think you were in that one... but doesn't mean there haven't been others after mine. I also hosted a demon game with a recruitment ability... IIRC, @Zhao_Yue and @Gorny were demon lovers I think and then something happened where Zhao was no longer a demon and therefore could no longer talk to Gorny and Gorny just kept voting for Zhao lol. It was not the way I was hoping for things to go. Man, that was years ago.... I tried to keep it balanced.
I don't think I was either, but who knows.
That's a good question, @snickersnack . If so, what does it mean?

@everyone, do y'all think the DEA can keep recruiting or they can only do it a few times? Do y'all think the DEA has a weapon that can only be used if something else happens? I'm just theorizing here.
I'm not so experienced, so I don't know what it means, but others have commented that the snitch can't be as powerful as the DEA agent as that would be OP. I'm tempted to "just theorize here," but it would be complete speculation.
