So let me get this right, they are planning to test drugs on citizens who say its-ok-to-use-that-on-me. But they are going to test them on people who are likely on skid row. The dangerous part is when the media get hold of the figures from these do-at-your-own-risk trials and start waving them around like a kid who saw his own poo for the first time. My point is, the problems start when the media start looking into it and making up stories that don't help anyone but themselves. That's always when everything goes south and its also unfortunately when too many people don't realize they are being manipulated.

The amount of people who died from CV-19 is probably easy to measure, but the number of people who got ill from it is not. If you find out about just a part of the afflicted numbers and take no measures about how many there are in total, the number is wrong.

I watched the Crenshaw interview with mixed feelings.

Sure, it was jolly watching that floater Maher getting spitted without his trained audience of seals (seals, geddit) barking and hinking at the guest ... but then I remembered that with the Crenshaws of this world in power, things won't be massively different than with the Pelosis and the Schumers. A difference in degree, sure, but not of kind.

Surprisingly agreed!

"He Fights!" only goes so far and will start to sour badly after Trump's next term. Most forget that Trump himself is a solid Progressive, who switched parties nearly as carelessly as Michael Bloomberg.

The novelty is that the GOP has consisted of simpering, colluding Establishment types for so long that when someone even appears to break the mold they garner attention. Crenshaw isn't another John McCain but he IS a solid Republican Progressive type; not at all a believer in smaller less intrusive Gov't.

If you want to provoke a fear reaction, try using living people and have someone stand on them. That might work better.

I'm assuming the reference is to the recent gaffe about disinfectant & UV? He was, of course, thinking of several effective regimens involving cleansing of the blood with UV rays, or chemical purification, which are well known practices but who the hell can tell if they would be efficacious with Wuhan Flu?
Trump is old enough to know better than to talk extemporaneously on camera about subjects he has layman's understanding of, but his ego gets in the way.

I actually sympathize a bit; I have an inch deep understanding about a wide variety of issues, but I'm generally less willing to flop my genitals out on issues I know I'm not overly familiar with (sport, as well as medicine or finance, would be fine examples).

He's not as bad as Obama but he shares the "I'm a better strategist than my own generals" personality flaw (no need to tag Godwin's Law). At least he recognized the Proggies are seething with hatred of him, & didn't take any questions in the briefing today. Which gave the fascist fecks a sadz.

Bazza does have a lovely speaking voice though, so you had to forgive the duplicitous cuss. I believe that soothing words and tones are preferable to anything else a POTUS can do.
