Yes, signed by Gorny in blood and Noodle in starch.
Franklin had a strong town read, I guess that’s what did him in,,, but why didn’t mafia pick one of the two investigative roles? Unless they’re lying, or one is actually paranoid and one is truly gornified and the mafia believes that?
I truly believe this is a ‘not normal’ game, but I’m struggling to understand how we’re on day 4 with two people claiming investigators but also that their data is useless? It seems like an overly complicated strategy to not get lynched (and I did vote to lynch D2DC) but I suppose, once again, this game is not normal.
I’m guessing my longevity in the game is that as long as mafia feels like I’m getting enough of a scum read it’s not to their benefit to kill me, so obviously I need to do a better job of supporting town/getting an accurate lynch.
I’ll be more back online tomorrow and try to reread and come up with a better assessment as I think we’re now really running out of time.
Yep. If you're a solid townie, you're ripe for an NK.
Unless I missed someone, I guess I am the other investigative role? Again, pretty sure my investigation does nothing, I'm just going through and relaying what I can in case Gorny is hiding some Easter egg bits of info there.
The fact that Leo wasn't targeted tells me, mafia are afraid of a doc out there. She mentioned a doc targeting her alters her results. So, either she's lying about the whole thing or mafia know that's what happened (because Argyle isn't a terrorist..). If there's a doc out there, and an outed cop, it's safe to assume the doc will protect her at night, making her a dangerous choice for an NK.
Also, it doesn't hurt the matter that Leo is ready to lynch me. At this point, mafia need some miss votes. So, they are happy to keep her around and voting for me.
This is basically it, If I had to take a guess, franklin was the best choice for them. The long story short is that franklin didn't seem to at anytime have any pressure on him, and was a fairly constant contributor.
The long story long is Leo seems to have "proven" herself to be an investigative role, although her results have been under question. If there is a doc and Leo is town, they would have not wanted to risk a failed kill at this point in the game as she would have been the most obvious protect target. Here is my breakdown:
- Leo has been full focus on D2DC, if both parties are town this provides full distraction with minimal effort.
- D2DC has been heavily focused on me.
- D2DC was only supported by franklin. Although franklin did cast the locking vote on D2DC, but I chalk this more up to him wanting to ensure the lynch happened.
- Coju had heavy fire in the beginning of the game, but afterwards a few people have come out with a town read on him (although personally half the time I don't understand what he is getting at).
- Huckit seems he is somewhere in the background, he always seems to pop up at opportune times. I'm not sure if this is just convenience, skillful playing, or what.
- D2lover while Huckit seems to be somewhere in the background, I'm not sure if this guy is even playing. He seems to be happy voting for D2DC, me, or anyone else for that matter.
- Noodle is....well...Noodle. He did vote very early for D2DC yesterday though with what seemed like pretty high confidence. This is very much outside of the norm for standard Noodle play.
Having not heard a word from Leo or Noodle since way early this day phase is concerning, but with Christmas and all that, I think everyone gets a pass, its just bad timing for participating in the game it seems.
Him, you, Noodle and d2lover have gotten basically a free pass up until this point with most of the attention on BH and myself.
Pyro especially stands out to me. As he is normally a big town contributor (even as scum). It may just be the busy RL of the holidays. But, he hasn't really been pushing to help solve things.
Even as scum, he is pretty good at hiding in plain sight, and making himself appear a helpful townie. This feels like he hasn't even brought his A game. He's just able to coast by because he knows all the pressure is elsewhere.
Honestly, I'm not going to argue you on this one, I have not been on my A game at all, and if that's enough to warrant your focus than by all means, put the pressure on. Although this statement is kind of hilarious in itself in that I'm the best town when I'm town, and best town when I'm scum, but right now I'm not being the best town so therefore I'm....scum? Town? I'm not sure.
