Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

hey guys im new here i wanna play here so can u help what should i download to get in this server

I think you're bit lost my friend...

First off, welcome to the forums and all that stuff. This thread is an off-topic thread in the forum that it's in. It's off topic meaning no Diablo2 related discussion.

The discussion in this thread can be about anything and some of us are discussing our recent goings on in our server. If you want to play WoW, you need to go buy the game.

If you want to play DII, then you need to go buy the game and post outside this thread.

o_O we can discuss d2 in the trade OTs :D

And we have a server? o_O

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

What?

I'm talking about D&D drow :p
My Drow is much hotter.

It's usually frowned upon to talk about Diablo related topics in the OTs, but I don't think that rule is really enforced anymore. I remember the first couple of OT threads I posted in had that rule in the first post.

I think by server, he means realm?

Welcome to the forum. This site is a place to discuss the game, you can't actually play it here. As Gorny said, you have to buy the game if you want to play. This thread (as with any that have OT in the title) is to discuss anything not related to the game.

Aren't supposed to, but as Ken said, it's not really enforced anymore...

Most of us are playing on the same server now.

Something like that, they're called servers in WoW. :D
Anyone get the number of that Elite that smacked me last night?
1-800-Scarlet-Monk :whistling:

First time my renew was more efficient than flash heals; y'all and your ~1k life. :D Also noticed that it went much faster then when I tried to do RFC with Jake, and those are ~19. :p

Looks like lot of SM GY runs for me, most of my upgrades drop from the rare spawns in there.
But isn't GY getting a bit low for you now, or probably will be very soon.

Maybe I should level my druid, so I can run with ya a bit. Priest takes away a lot of exp for you guys.
I thought the dude was talking about D2.
He was, but by "he" I thought you meant Gorny. :p

Not really low level, I should be good there for the next two levels then I can move into Library and then the two locked parts.

The upgrades from the rare spawns are too good to pass up. Too bad I don't have acces to the Winter's Bite Enchant. It's a must have weapon enchant for frost damage, even more important than a + to Int enchant on weapon. Also close to using Elixir of Frost Power.

Lynn, can you do me a favor. Whip up some lesser wizard oil if you have time, I'm at the point to use it but don't have high enough skill in Enchanting.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

Why waste your time in GY, especially hoping for the rare spawns. Hit the other 3 and move on.

And you need more dedication. Next time I log on at 2 in the morning, I expect to see you on like I do some people, right Lynn?

Negative sir, Library does not have anything that I need, unless the dog whistle drops. I'd run Library only for EXp, and usually after a GY run.The other two are still too high level, being 33+ and 36+ and not offering much n the sense of usable drops for clothies. That's suicide. Besides for a frost mage, that gears pretty much tops for the 30's range. Not to mention that the drops from the other three (taking into account the stuff I got from earlier runs in GY and Library) don't even come close.

You mean Winter's Might? I think that's only available during Christmas; haven't seen any on AH yet.

To answer your question, base is +1135 at the moment.
Yeah, I seem to remember one from last night.

We need some Sirloin to get us through too.
Yeah, we saw how well *that worked. I don't mind tagging along, but if you expect me to do all the killing then we'll be there all night. I'm going to start leveling my druid a bit too, so far just trying to get her herbalism up to par, switching from skin/lw to herbs/alch. I've sent your rogue a bunch of leather she had. Also have some recipes in her bank that she wasn't able to use yet.

Need to get one more rep rank with Sporeggar so I can get the recipe for that nifty 28-slot herb bag. :D

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

Yeah, might not Chill. Chill is a completely different nd more high level talent skill that I won't have till 50+ levelwise.

Re: Red Alert! (Spring/Summer OT Thread)

*insert WoW-speak here as if I knew what I were talking about* Don't you guys run with the guild? I thought that's what they were for? Or are you pretty much on your own until you can contribute to end-game raid crap? If that's the case, I'll pass on joining. I honestly don't see myself getting into the 40's, 50's or 60's for a very long time.

Druid is leveling fast, should be close to your level soon enough. :jig:

I met this warlock last night that was literally following me around; kind of annoying in a way. Why do I always attract the weird ones? Anyway.. Helped him with a couple of quests, and then he kept trying to get me to tank for a group going into WC. I think I do okay "tanking" for quests and such, but I don't think I'd do well against elites. Not to mention he kept taking aggro away from me when we were trying to kill those annoying harpies. Not much of a tank if I can't keep their attention on me, eh? :p

Aside from that, the only *real thing I know about tanks is that if they die everyone else follows quickly. Unless of course the healer dies first, then they're usually screwed anyway. :D

Most of the guild already has a couple level 70 characters, so they don't spend much time doing lower end stuff like we're doing right now. Most are willing to help if you ask, however, depending on what's going on at the time. I am willing to help however I can; it'll be a while yet before I can do most of what they're always busy with anyway. And it'll be easier for me soon too, since I've started leveling my druid now. :jig:

Aw yeah, Gorny!
I love the new smackdown you're laying on the Community forums here. That new stickied thread is pretty much my favourite right now.
