I want a cute, cuddly penguin for a pet. And I want it to be exactly like Mr. Popper's Penguins. I haven't actually seen the movie or book but I assume the penguins are cute and cuddly little rascals.

HP Lovecraft's gigantic penguins were cute, and cuddly, but only if you are like 20' tall.

The shoggoth wasn't interested in cuddling penguins, though. Shoggoths are not penguin persons, nor people persons - nor even people artificially constructed entities. Great singers though, great vocal range.
