Clarification as to the items:

Bidding on or choosing items is not necessary, however the key to the town winning the game lies in the items.

As to the items, some are cosmetic and on use, they will cause an in game emote to happen or a youtube clip to be played.

A few items have a passive standard mafia game effect.

A lesser few have a direct use.

Bidding on items ends just over 8 hours from the time stamp of this post, at 5 PM CST.

Once everyone has been to Kansas and back, the game will begin with a day phase.

P.S. @Gorny I'm confirming the rules here. Never been to Kansas or fun make believe land either with flying houses and yellow brick roads. I'm confused here though how did the order of item picking turn into Leo, then D2DC, then D2lover if Leo picked 3, D2 lover picked 6, and D2DC picked an annoying form of 1?

Also I realize I missed the window to bid and that is my own fault here for missing most of yesterday (it was a bad day), just confirming I have no way to gain an item today now? Didn't realize we had a timeline on making a bid, kind of a shame, but if thats the rule, then whatever. I'll be sure to make a bid next time.

Rule #8 spelling is Malakai (with an A). And there is nothing in MY role PM that would have indicated the correct spelling. Therefore, if you just skimmed the rules (but read #8), where did YOU get the correct spelling?

What is a Multiuse Phaser and what does setting it to turn do? Are you trying to turn me into scum you limp noodle?

I looked at a post above mine for the spelling, whether that be the flavor post for start of "pre day" or the rule set I don't remember but I hardly think that matters, as I used something that was posted by Gorny. You are hanging on awfully hard to something the mod later confirmed as arbitrary.

Gorny declared it as arbitrary after I pointed out the discrepency, possibly to come to your defense. However, lets put that aside for the moment. Gorny has chosen to use the Malakai spelling (with an A). ALL instances that I am aware of where Gorny WROTE the name, it is spelled with an A. The ONLY instances with the Malikai spelling were either from other sites, or copied/pasted by Gorny.

Malakai (with an A) is identified as the anti town in a very limited number of places. Since you obviously knew he was the scum, its very suspicious that you used the Malikai (with an I) spelling, while also claiming to have just skimmed over rules.

I will grant you that it is possible that you skimmed the rules, knew that Makilakiki was scum, and before posting had to look back up (at the flavor story) to find the correct spelling. But, it is AWFULLY suspicious..

Did anybody else read the episode transcript? I am wondering if votes will even work against this guy? Gorny made it pretty clear we will need to use the items to win. So, are we just risking lynching a townie by voting? or, is it worth a shot?

Possibly to come to my defense? Are you serious? You are suggesting that the mod made a statement to aid my position? Ok sure. I think it's more of a statement of not to focus on something so arbitrary such as spelling.

Yes I was able to determine we were looking for Malalakikiki from skimming the rules and and reading the flavor story. It makes it kind of obvious since the guy is attacking us in the story and I have a reading comprehension level higher than a third grader. Your entire case still revolves solely around an A instead of an I or is it an I instead of an A. I'm not even sure why this is a thing at this point.

Since rule 13 is usually mod kill for inactivity I assume it means that there will be no modkills for inactivity (lucky you huckit since you hardly post) but all other instances of breaking the rules will still result in modkills.
