If mafia (Zim's team....) have no NK, then how would they win? Do you mean that they only have daykill?

There are a lot of possibilities. It could be that Zim and Tak had similar powers: a NK that only works on the other player, and Tak got lucky whereas @Gorny didn't. The death of one or the other could be the trigger to open their respective wincons (defeat town). I think this is something that fits the theme and would amuse Leo to watch. What I wonder now is whether Gir's wincon has changed.

Many explanations:
  • Gorny tried to perform an NK and got RB. I find it unlikely there are TWO NK abilities though.
  • Gorny's target was protected. Again, that would mean two kill abilities.
  • Gorny targeted someone he shouldn't have, someone more powerful and got killed instead. A la Paranoid Gun Owner
  • Redirected mechanics, bus driver etc.
  • A VERY bold move by his mafia partner? :ROFLMAO:
Option number 3 sounds the most reasonable to me. But, I don't really know anything about the show.

The Tall Ones would fit that role. Since Leo is big Purple (speculation, but look at her avatar!), maybe one of the players is big Red. That wouldn't necessarily be a town faction, but the Irken Empire isn't interested in Earth, so big Red could be such a player. Well, that or Professor Membrane could.

Yeah Gorny would be the one to talk about order of operations on that. That’s, I think, one or the hardest parts about modding Mafia: what to do when targets that target are targeted.

I could totally see they could only target each other for their wincon. That would lead me to think Gir is investigating ability or such, though.

But how would it work if you are mafia? I'm talking game rules wise. If you are on a 2 person team, and in the chat the one who submits the kill is NK'ed does it not go through, even if there is another member?

Said in another way, do the NK of the mafia hinge on the actual member in the chat typing "Kill: XXX", to survive to go through or wouldn't it matter?
 
I'm currently suspecting Snickersnack more than anyone, but even that's a low read, like three out of ten.

All the actions (especially kills) are supposed to occur "simultaneously".

Killing doesn't stop the actions of the dead player. (Imagine that all kills happen at the end of the night, and everyone pulls the trigger simultaneously.)

No, it would not make sense, but people have bread crumbed worse. (I never pick up on them so thought I had one)
