[Game Thread] HBO Rome Mafia Game

🏛️ He'd follow the eagle up Pluto's arse.

@D2DC is it literally an eagle??
I’ll first say, I was slow and did not win the trivia yeesterday, however according to Google, a golden eagle (the standard, equivalent of modern day flag that a flag bearer would carry on parade or whatnot) was stolen. In the show Vorenus and Pullo return it for a reward.

So if my notes are correct; d2l, Pyro, Snicker and Zhao didn't make a single quote on D1. What gives?
Leo was having so much fun with the quoting mechanic, I didn't want to steal the spotlight from her.

From your POV, how do you perceive the result of the voting in the Senate. Good or bad?
I'm going to assume that the story is fluid, that is, players actions/inactions can change events and be different from history. ie. Caesar could have obeyed the command, come to Rome for trial and be executed for treason.

Whether it's good or bad it's hard to determine since I don't know what historical figures align with which mafia roles.

Are you pro or anti-Gorny?

And yet, the sky is still above us and the earth still below. Strange.

Nah, but seriously, why should I do the quotes on day 1 if I'm 95% sure that no one is going to vote for me. There is like a 99% chance that the tie breaker rules won't matter in my case.

Lots of percentages being thrown around, it seems like you thought this through. Thank you for answering.

Well you know what happened to one historical figure (Caesar).
How do you perceive those events in relation to what other information you might have. Is what happened good or bad?

🏛️ Gorny, report to Princess Leopold and do whatever she tells you!

Ooh I like what you're stepping in, @Babyhell .

I'm on mobile right now. I don't have much of an idea of anything right now. I'll have to mull and simmer on @Skjolde 's points.

To add on to his points, does anyone think we have a mason-like group here? Maybe a group plotting to take Caesar down? Or a family talking to each other? I am thinking the former. To which I say...

🏛️ DIE SCREAMING Y'ALL PIG TROLLOPS!

You really do love that quote :D

Take it easy with grilling pryo, he got so scared of your authoritative voice that he posted his complementary show quote twice.

I'll throw you a curveball and say I'm indifferent.

I have very little knowledge of Roman history, but from the story the main characters seem to be Caesar and Pompeii? Do you believe in the classic Townie-Mafia setup or might it be factions?
