Dunno if we can get an answer from @The Silver Shroud? But, what happens to items when people die? And, does it make any difference lynch vs NK?
Items expire every day at the start of the dawn phase regardless. Most are meant for the night anyway. If someone has an item and dies, item goes with them.
You gonna get in trouble with this crowd.. FYI everyone else, @wanjai plays "Town of Salem" where they typically don't lynch on d1. I'm of the same mindset, but will keep my mouth shut.

I'm having plumbing issues with my bathtub not draining, luckily I did not have to call a plumber as my uncle came over with an electric rodder, I managed to get the drain working (saving a costly plumber call) but I'm exhausted from working on my tub, going to pass out for the night soon.

This may be a nice reminder that everyone should place a vote, otherwise we could lose half the town day 1 due to people not voting.

So, after re-reading the rules again.. I don't think item drops will have that great of an impact? Their effect wears off after the following day/night phase. And, if the drops/weather are truly random, then there won't be much chance of "x item stops effects of z weather event"
