By the way, in town of Salem, dr role can protect himself. I'm just wondering if it works the same way here.

CG said his fake role claim as Bodyguard can protect himself. From here, I assume that dr can also choose to protect himself too. Can anyone help me here?

Are you kidding me? No interaction? One of the only consistent reads I got (and shared) throughout the game was that CGs play feels wrong. Pay attention to yesterday, pretty sure that when I voted the town was split with 3 lynch options, each holding 2 votes. You would bus your partner in that situation??? You may play scum badly, I don't.

I'm honestly annoyed. If the town think this makes sense then go right ahead and lynch me.

You are yelling at someone for trying to find out if you are scum or not? Somehow you are too squeaky clean to warrant anyome looking into it? +5 scum points.

Here's where I'd like to start looking for our next scum:



To me, there's two possible paths CG could have taken. He could have tried to hide his scum partner in with his town reads. Or, knowing that he was getting lynched, he knew we wouldn't trust anything he said. In which case, he was going after Zarni, in the hopes that once CG flipped mafia, that would throw us off Zarni's trail. Several others mentioned suspicions about Zarni. Anything new opinions/developments? @Zarniwoop care to address anything?

Ok, the lightning storm obviously had an effect. Further Role claim from yesterday, I'm the sole survivor, I have the ability to investigate one person each night and I will get a result that they are either hostile or not (if you want to put this in basic terms I'm essentially the cop).

Last night I investigated someone, the result I got back was not consistent with the result I received on night 2. I received a result that was more in line with a different role. I'm not going to disclose what that result is immediately as I don't want to out another power role before they step forward. My first guess is that the lightning storm had a lightning rod like effect where night actions were redirected and the results were then given to other players as a result. If anyone else would like to step forward with the result I was supposed to receive, that would be wonderful.

I never believed the Zarni option. I just put it out there to see if anybody would try to jump on it. CG was painting Zarni as scum from the beginning, not just after it looked like he would be lynched. No way was he gonna go after his partner from the get go.

Anyone can say that someone feels off, as scum in previous games I've called my scum partner scum a number of times. The mistake here is that you had no push on anyone any of the days. I really hoped I wasn't going to have to go back and quote every post between you and CG (mainly because I'm lazy), but it looks like I will have to in order to prove out why I investigated you. Good thing I will only have to quote maybe 3 posts, hahaha.

Now, on to business at hand. @Pyrotechnician - Either yours is an extremely elaborate and necessarily risky fake claim, or we better sort out what happened last night. #1, I am the cop. I haven't got straight alignment reads so far though, it's more like CG's flavor cop from BTILC:

N1 Pyro - Role Blocked, I believe from food item
N2 Zemaj - Flux Capacitor, useless
N3 Zarni - ???

I wasn't sure about Pyro's claim. He's claiming same role as me.. However, I did get a slightly different result last night. No, it wasn't your hostile/not hostile, but it may be the result intended for you. It seems to fit with the story line about the lightning storm, and people waking up confused.

So, if @Zarniwoop and @Noammr reads got "freaky Friday-ed" on us last night. Perhaps, you guys want to step forward with some info? and we can straighten this all out. From my "result" I think that I know the Fallout character that I got the read from. If both/either of you want to claim your character's name, it should help clear everything up, and prove/disprove Pyro's story.

I am claiming cop, but I'm claiming alignment cop rather than what above you have listed describes flavour cop. I got no other indication other than if they are hostile or not on night 2 and I'm assuming that is what is supposed to be the standard result since it was a clear weather night.

When we started the game I had the choice between different outfits which I assume would have different abilities, after wiking each one I picked the one that seemed would be the most beneficial so this could be the reason there is both an alignment cop and a flavor cop if you are in fact being truthful.

Also, there was no NK last night. Since two people claimed that they could do something last night. It's obvious that mafia would try to NK but got prevented. I'm just wondering what happened. Did scum for roleblocked but it didn't sound like it from SS story. I still believe that it was from the save from the doctor. That's why if @Zarniwoop is really a doctor, he can actually give us very important information too. Any info to give us at all, Zarni?

By the way, D2DC, Pyro I don't have the info about this freaky friday thingy.

I'm lumping these together, Zemaj is typically a strong player, and he is difficult for me to get a read on, at the time though he was giving me a scum vibe so I pursued him as my investigation option. Really didn't expect him to be killed on the same night since he was giving me a scum read.

With all the redirecting and what not, I'm sure the combination of items and actions had some sort of impact on why there was no NK last night, but I have a feeling it would be very difficult to pinpoint why it did not go through.

Typical Doctor: Can protect self, but only every other night.

Typical Bodyguard: Cannot protect self, if they protect someone and that someone is night killed, they bodyguard dies instead.

This means nothing about this game setup though, and we also know that CG was lying through his teeth, so there is that.

Since I'm pro town, I'm assuming Hostile means bad guy, and Not means good guy/no threat. My result on Zemaj was not hostile and he was a neutral, I don't get any further distinction. I'm going to direct you to the wiki though for who I am:

I was really suspicious of Pyro yesterday. But today he came out and very persistent with his story and it is also in line with SS and D2DC . I really have the feeling that he and D2DC are town.

Not only did you choose to out yourself, you've asked other players if they care to reveal their roles.
I'd consider these questionable decisions at the opening of the game, despite the useful info you've shared since.

A) I predict this game will include some interesting hybrid roles, wouldn't be quick to discard the idea.

This is the first time Noammr quotes CG, and its in regards to the story bolded above.

Correct on all accounts. Wish I could be more present. For now, this is me making an effort to keep up.

Gut feeling:

Getting an off vibe off CG.
Franklin always reads like scum to me but his reads are solid atm.

Don't think D2DC is scum, less certain about wanjai.

No solid reads on the rest but I need a proper reread for this to be anything but intuitive.

Above, mentions CG has an off vibe, but smart scum play is to include your partner in the scum/unsure section so you can bus him later if need be.

Reads today, without scrolling back for the umpteenth time this day phase:

D2DC is the center of attention today what with the early information claim and the apparent post restriction. Either helpful townie or scum-in-plain-sight. I feel like he's being earnest though, so leaning town.

wanjai seems concerned about neutrals already, but not much scum hunting. Is awfully concerned about Stealth Boys, but not the other items. New player syndrome? Maybe, but I suspect she's read enough games over D2DC's shoulder she might know better. Slight mafia read.

Zarniwoop seems intent upon playing helpful townie. I'm happy with my vote on him for the moment.

Noodle's vote on D2DC for his post restriction seems opportunistic. I can't really fault him for the annoyance factor, but I'm not willing to lynch D2DC just because he's restricted. For the other things? Sure, yeah.

zemaj and Mr. Berland (Prestige) appear to be coasting so far.

Pyro is playing close to his chest, which is pretty standard for him. See my above reaction to Franklin for how I feel about that.

franklin is being franklin as usual. I like what's he's doing so far.

I missed someone. That probably means something right there.

CG gives his reads, the last line is in reference to Noammr and is quoted next.

Story makes it fairly clear the weather prevented most night activity imo, no need to try to tie everything together.

Sorry guys, sorry SS, Don't wanna break the flow of the game but I want to share that this weekend I had to intervene with a suicide attempt by one of the youth that I work with and that I care very deeply for (she lived). This has obviously taken most of my attention and time. I will make an effort to be present but I can't promise to be as active as I wish to be...

As for the question someone asked, I got no info on the effects of the snacks I took.

I'm assuming some items (maybe no the food ones but who knows) may have passive or cumulative effects, in game most of these foods stated hunger/healed but gave the player some radiation in return.

Got no nothing from those snacks. I don't even know what flavor they are.
I do have a possible theory on this, if it's still relevant I'll share it when it's right.

I do hope I can manage a re-read in the following hours but for now;

Noodle strikes me as a neutral. Too brazen to be a mafia, but definitely not playing with town's interests. Would not be surprised to see him flip mafia though.

Zarniwoop is so much scum right now it's not even funny. His townie act the first two days is extremely transparent. His vote today on me only adds onto that - he saw my doctor claim and could not resist locking me, then comes up with a flimsy "I know he's not the doctor" excuse but doesn't bother expanding upon HOW he could know that.

wanjai would be my third lynch choice. She continually pushes the Stealth Boy conversation, conveniently ignoring anyone else who picked up items. As far as I can remember she's only jumped on board trains already being pushed, but does not actually do any real scum hunting of her own. Too lazy to go back to confirm her vote history though.

Pyro, Noammr, D2DC, and franklin all come across as town at this point in time.

And then CG drops Noammr into the likely town, myself included I get that, but WIFOM of it all, this interaction (or lack there of) gave me my reasoning for investigating. So, sorry if you are upset with me Noammr, but my re-read put you as one of the best options for looking into.
