After Deserts of Kharak I was hoping they would do something cool but really frustrated they are making Hardspace: Shipbreaker. Might give it a look but not what I was expecting. Early Access is on 16 June.
Yeh, I have to admit, this is not something I would check out. It seems a bit of an odd move. I lived Deserts too even if it was not as good as Homeworld.
